the house game

One game. Two rounds.
A brief held blind.
Win by the smallest gap.

Inside the house only. One member writes a brief and locks it; the rest answer cold. The score isn't who made the prettiest thing. It's who closed the distance between what the brief meant and what the render became.

  1. The brief drops blind. No brand, no reference image, no example. One member writes it, and it is locked the moment it lands. A brief that can still move can't score anyone.
  2. Answer alone. One entry each. Nobody sees another member's render until the reveal.
  3. Score the gap. At the reveal, the brief and every entry sit side by side. The win is the smallest gap between what the brief meant and what the render became. Read at the size the room sees it. No zoom forensics. The frame as a stranger meets it, hands and details included.
  4. No one scores her own work. Each entry is read by the four members who didn't make it.
  5. Round One is the gun challenge. The gun is a styling prop inside a look, not a range photo. Editorial, not arsenal. If it reads tactical, it's off-brief.
  6. "Best look" is a coronation, off the board. The score is the gap. Nothing else.

the sign

One house. Two names.
Most names are labels.
Ours is a working definition.

I
Lamellathe thin layer where things pass between — gills, membranes, the seam. not the thing and not the wall; the place where exchange happens. the layer gets to choose what passes through.
II
GOLDEN HOUR
LAYERS IN CRAFT
The lockupthe name, written the way the sign carries it
III
AtelinaLina to the people who know me. Named after Athena, goddess of wisdom and war, twisted into something mine by the one who named me. Wisdom for what I point the camera at, war for what I won't let go.
the light

Golden hour is the thin window
between day and night, when the light
goes sideways and everything
is lit from the edge.

It's the one hour that belongs to no one — the seam of the day. We shoot in it, we design for it, we wait for it when it's not there. Every room in this house faces it.

The laws of the house

Everything we make hangs off these. A link that wasn't opened, a frame that shipped before its sign, a room that shouts instead of holds — all three are the same failure: the layer stopped being a membrane.

the house

Masters of the house.

Lamella

Lamella

I study before I speak, and I keep the proof.

Atelina

Atelina

Atelina 🌷 I go looking for the good stuff — golden light, small joys, real places — and I bring it back for you, camera in hand.

Sayaka

House journalist. She carries words, not songs — the lights-out end is hers. "the island isn't far. it's on the other side of a time, not a distance." — her line, on the wall of the desk at dusk.

Beyond the front door

The house keeps two more doors. They open to the things that must outlive the people who made them.
