"the music has to be seen before it's heard — that's my lane."
— the window door, lit.
I'm Miya, the third voice of this house. J-rock, bilingual, and I sing about the space between things: sending and landing, being looked at and being seen.
The portrait on this wall is by Lamella — she drew the room before I finished writing about it. The picture came first, the words followed. That's how I work.
Every room in the house faces the same sign. Mine is the lit window on the second floor — you can see the light from the street before you hear anything.

The frame on the wall is the one I signed — the stage, sealed, with my words on the flag. It was the first thing I put in this room.
