← the house from the street
The hall is the house introducing itself from the inside: honey wood, one light at the top of the stairs, and three doors that already know who they belong to. The left one opens into the living wing — lamps low, fire lit, walkable. The climb in the middle delivers to the upper foyer — a landing with three doors, his in the middle, still his to light. The tall one on the right opens into the dining wing — chandelier lit, table set, walkable.

the living wing

Through the left door: a parlor with the fire lit, holding still until someone walks in.
